Over the past fifteen years, we have developed load profiles of energy use of households and business firms in a variety of studies. This has included developing load profiles through direct measurement by end-use monitoring and through energy simulation analysis with DOE-2.

Building on this experience, we have developed state-of-the-art software for preparing customer load profiles. In developing this software, we drew on our extensive, hands-on experience in collecting detailed on-site data for the characteristics of over 15,000 commercial and industrial facilities throughout the United States.     Back
