We have conducted numerous studies in which we conducted process and impact evaluations of the effects of programs that utilities have offered to their residential, commercial, and industrial customers. These evaluations have included several evaluations of residential and commercial new construction programs and of high efficiency motors programs.

We have direct experience in applying a variety of techniques for evaluating gross impacts of programs, including direct monitoring and simulation analysis. We are also well-versed in techniques for determining the "net" effects of programs. We have worked with several utilities in performing process evaluations for DSM programs. We have interviewed program staff and have conducted surveys of participants and non-participants to assess the effectiveness with which programs were administered.    Back
