Under contract with AmerenUE (AUE), ADM Associates, Inc. (ADM) and its subcontractors are providing impact and process evaluations and verification and due diligence for the programs in AmerenUE's Business Energy Solutions Program Portfolio (BES Portfolio). The BES Portfolio is designed to capture electrical energy efficiency and demand response opportunities for the commercial and industrial sectors during the 2008-2011 implementation periods.
ADM is providing measurement, verification & evaluation for all residential & commercial programs for Nevada Power & Sierra Power for 2009-2011 program years.
ADM is performing measurement and verification (M&V) activities for NVE's ACLM programs for 2009-2011 program years. The ACLM programs use one-way & two-way communication capabilities.
ADM is performing impact and process evaluations that measure and verify the electric energy and demand savings from B.C. Hydro's Fiscal Year 2007-2008 (F08) Industrial Power Smart Partners Program. The focus of the work is to be on energy efficiency measures installed for key industrial processes and technologies by participants in the F08 program.
ADM is working with the California Public Utility Commission Energy Division in a Local Government Partnership (LGP) Program to evaluate Resource and Non-Resource Programs. The LGP Program evaluation bundle includes 56 individual programs being offered by the investor owned utilities in California and their state, local government, or community organization partners.
The California Public Utility Commission has contracted with ADM Associates, Inc. to conduct a two part Commercial Evaluation consisting of one group of High Impact Measures and large commercial facilities.
ADM has been selected to provide Measurement and Verification (M&V) services to New Mexico InvestorOwned Utilities Southwestern Public Service ("SPS"), El Paso Electric ("EPE") and Public Service Company of New Mexico ("PNM") for each utility's respective electric energy-efficiency and load management programs and for the gas energy efficiency programs of PNM for 2008-2010 program years.
ADM is conducting an impact evaluation of the Energy Trust of Oregon 2006 and 2007 Building Efficiency Programs. Key issues addressed through our evaluation included development of reliable estimates of gross and net program savings for the 2006 and 2007 Building Efficiency Programs, and making observations and developing recommendations to improve the effectiveness of future engineering studies.
ADM is providing technical consultation and evaluation on emerging technologies for SMUD.  The technologies being evaluated include:
  • Coolerado - a direct/indirect evaporative cooler
  • Freus - water cooled condensers used in residential air conditioning systems
  • Ice Bear -an ice storage system, which can be integrated with existing packaged air conditioning systems.
  • SunCache - a solar water pre-heater
  • Remote Site Manager - A web enabled energy management system
  • Energy efficient vanity lighting systems for hotel and nursing home bathrooms.
  • Peak Spray Cooling - water mist for air-cooled condensers
ADM managed the Low-Income Energy Efficient Housing Program; a three-year research effort targeted towards adapting technologies (either new or existing) that reduce residential energy use and by doing so reduce consumer costs. The program brought together a distinguished group of scientists and researchers from the Energy Systems Laboratory at Texas A&M University, the Florida Solar Energy Center at the University of Central Florida, the University of Nebraska and the Heat Island Group at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratories. Funded by the California Energy Commission through its Public Interest Research Program (PIER), the consultant team was charged with carrying out the many tasks associated with the research program.

ADM managed the Central Valley Schools Energy Efficiency Program for the California State and Consumer Services Agency.

This program offered a variety of educational resources to teach K-12 grade students about energy, and provided technical support to assist schools with energy-efficient facility upgrades

ADM has conducted a statewide evaluation of the effectiveness of bi-level lighting controls and task lighting for Southern California Edison Co. This study, conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of dual switching required under Title-24 California Building Standards, included extensive monitoring of lighting controls and occupancy profiles.
ADM has completed the final reports for a Nonresidential Remodeling and Renovation Study, for the California Energy Commission. For this study, ADM collected and analyzed data to characterize nonresidential remodeling and renovation market activity in California. The data and analysis produced through this study will be used in evaluating energy efficiency market transformation efforts, and the effectiveness of individual programs and in strategic planning efforts.
